“I gave a report approval. The report was given unanimously. It ordered it extended of the deadline until 30 September by which public and private operators are not penalized. One of the reasons that they decided this was that there are numerous schools that have to do this and it is much easier (to complete the formalities required-n.r) during school holidays. It was decided that public and private operators are not fined until September 30th so they can submit their application for licensing.

There is a shortage of specialists to make this endorsement. It is not reasonable to believe that everything will be completed by September 30, but if you extend indefinitely the term people will leave until the last moment . This decision was made, so the ones who donot make the application for licensing for fire safety through September 30th, will be liable to a penalty”, said AFP, Nicuşor Dan, member of the Committee of public administration from the Chamber of Deputies. Committee for Public Administration of the Chamber of Deputies passed an amendment required for fire safety authorization referred to in art. 30 para. (41) of Law no. 307/2006 on fire protection shall be extended until September 30, 2017, the Board for decision.

The initial deadline was June 30th.
